Welcome to the Meridian Elementary School Web Site. Our school provides excellent educational opportunities for our students. Meridian is the county seat of Bosque County, Texas, which is at the Top of the Hill Country.

We are proud to announce that The U. S. Department of Education has named Meridian Elementary "2007 National Blue Ribbon School".
Meridian Elementary is listed as an Exemplary Campus by the Texas Education Agency. Teachers, who have many years of teaching experience, teach our students. Our classes range from Head Start/Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade.
Our students are competitive in Texas U.I.L.. literary events and the local community supports a basketball and baseball program for the elementary aged students. Students leave our school and attend Meridian High School for grades 7-12.
