Classroom Rules
Classroom Rules (cont.)
  • Be on time to class with all materials in hand (textbook, calculator, paper, pencil/pen, eraser/whiteout, etc.) Be a lender, not a borrower.
  • Take care of personal business between classes (restroom, tardy/absentee slips, phone calls, etc.)
  • Dress appropriately. You know the dress code. Follow it.
  • Contribute to a good learning environment by being prepared for class.
  • Be polite. Be friendly. Be positive. Be cheerful

  • Participate in your own education. School is for learning. Ask questions.
  • Take responsibility for your own actions or lack thereof.
  • Remember that tax dollars purchased the building, the furnishings, the textbooks, the equipment, and paid your teachers' salaries. Treat them all as well as yourself with respect.
  • Accept the furniture arrangement and temperature of the room with grace.
  • Remember, you'll never be sorry you studied, but you're often sorry when you don't.
