Classroom Rules
Consequences
  • Come prepared to work every day; bring the required materials EVERY DAY! When the tardy bell rings, be in your seat, materials ready, and starting on the day's work written on the board.
  • Be respectful of the teacher, other classmates, and the property of this room. If it does not belong to you, don't touch it.
  • Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Respect the space of others.
  • Follow directions the FIRST time.
  • No food, gum, candy or drinks are allowed in the room.
  • Clean up your desk and the area around it every day. Take books, notebooks, paper, etc. with you when you leave. Put trash in the trash can.
  • Class will be dismissed by the teacher not the bell.

  • Warning
  • Conference with student outside of class time.
  • Citizenship grade lowered one letter.
  • Contact parent. Remain 30 minutes after school on an agreed day. Student makes action plan for improving behavior.
  • Contact parent. Refer to principal.
Grading Policy
Sponsor and UIL Coach
  • Work should be completed and turned in on time. Unless there are special circumstances, late work will be accepted only for one week after it's original due date, with 10 points off the earned grade each day it's late.
  • Academic dishonesty, including cheating, plagiarizing, or coping will result in a zero on the work in question, and disiplinary action including referral to the principal and a conference with parents.
  • Six weeks grades are an average of all your daily and major grades. Remember the Law of Zeros. One zero brings three 100's down to a 75. It is VERY imporant to turn in all your work.
  • One Act Play
