The winter of 1933, was when Franklin D Roosevelt
took office as our president. The Frist Inaugural Address in 1933
and Second Inaugural Address in 1937 were some of the Historical
Documents that he made in his first two terms.
During the Great Depression, in 1932, Roosevelt
campaigned for the Democratic Presidential slot and won against
Herbert Hoover by over seven million popular votes. The Depression
worsened and Roosevelt immediately took charge by initiating his
New Deal program during his first 100 days helping America get back
on its feet.
