The winter of 1933, was when Franklin D Roosevelt took office as our president. The Frist Inaugural Address in 1933 and Second Inaugural Address in 1937 were some of the Historical Documents that he made in his first two terms.

During the Great Depression, in 1932, Roosevelt campaigned for the Democratic Presidential slot and won against Herbert Hoover by over seven million popular votes. The Depression worsened and Roosevelt immediately took charge by initiating his New Deal program during his first 100 days helping America get back on its feet.
