5th Grade Bridge Guest Guidelines

June 27, 2020, Yellowjacket Stadium

For anyone who feels that attending in person would be a safety risk, the Ceremony will be live streamed through the Meridian ISD1 Facebook page.  We have worked very hard to make it possible for those wishing to attend to do so.

  1. Gates open at 9:00 am

  2. Ceremony begins at 10:00 am after which no one will be allowed to enter the stadium 

  3. All guests are encouraged to wear cloth face coverings but not required (over the nose and mouth) while inside school facilities

  4. Hand sanitizer will be provided at both entrances to the stadium

Guest Arrival
Includes both reserved seats and first come first serve seating

All Reserved Ticket Holders must enter through the North Parking Lot

All other guests can enter through either the North or South Parking Lots

  1. You will be directed where to park by a school employee. 

  2. You will wait in your vehicle until someone arrives to check you in.

  3. Check in will follow the CDC guidelines- on the back

  4. Your entire group must be present before you are allowed to enter the stadium.

  5. Once you have your entire group and you have completed check in, you will be escorted to the stadium and directed to your seat.

  6. Once seated, you must remain in your seat until dismissal after the ceremony.

The Home Stands and Track are reserved seating for guests with tickets.  

Additional Guest Seating

  1. All other guests will be seated on a first come first served process. 

  2. You will be seated in groups of no more than 10 per TEA guidelines.

  3. You will not be seated until your entire group is together. 

Guest Dismissal- to include both reserved seats and first come first serve seating

  1. You must remain in your seat until you are instructed to depart the stadium.

  2. We will depart by sections/rows to ensure the safety of everyone.

  3. Once you leave the stadium area, you must proceed directly to your vehicle and leave the MHS property.

Safety Protocol

Prior to participating, individuals will be screened (via questioning) by school employees for any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID19: 

o Cough 

o Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

 o Chills

o Repeated shaking with chills

o Muscle pain 

o Headache 

o Sore throat  

o Loss of taste or smell 

o Diarrhea 

o Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit 

o Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19 if exposure to the active confirmed case occurred within the last 14 days 

Those found with any of these signs or symptoms will not be allowed in the stadium.
