Meridian FFA is making moves!
What a week it has been for our Meridian FFA LDE teams! Over the past five days, our students have competed at three different contests, stepped outside their comfort zones, and represented Meridian FFA incredibly well!
We are SO proud of the hard work, dedication, and growth these students have shown. For many of them, this is their first year competing in Leadership Development Events (LDEs), and they are already proving that Meridian FFA is a chapter to watch!

These students have spent countless hours memorizing speeches, studying FFA knowledge, practicing interviews, perfecting scripts, and learning to work together as teams. They have pushed themselves to try something new, built confidence, and represented our school with pride.
As we continue working to build and grow our FFA program, weeks like this remind us exactly why we do what we do. We are building more than competitive teams. We are building leaders, confidence, friendships, and a program our students and community can be proud of.
A huge thank you to our parents, teachers, administration, and community for supporting these students and giving them the opportunity to succeed.
We are incredibly proud of our Meridian FFA members, and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish next!

Due to some of our seniors being out for a field trip. We are moving the senior peprally during jacket period on Friday November 6th @ 10:20 am.
Senior Recognition will still be on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm at Frank Pollard Stadium.
MES has had a great Red Ribbon Week, and we are finishing off the week with our best hero gear on Friday. Dress as a hero or community helper. Check out our hats, jerseys, and socks from this week.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the remainder of our high school football season due to injuries that have impacted our team and our ability to safely continue competition.
This was an extremely difficult decision and one that was not made lightly. The safety and well-being of our student-athletes must always come first. After careful consideration, we believe this is the best decision for our players and our program.
We understand the disappointment that our players, coaches, parents, alumni, and community members will feel. Our athletes have put in countless hours of hard work, dedication, and commitment, and we are proud of the effort they have given to Meridian football. We want to thank our players for their perseverance, our coaches for their dedication, our parents for their support, and our community for standing behind our Yellow Jackets.
Although our season is ending sooner than we had hoped, our commitment to our student-athletes and the future of Meridian athletics remains strong. We will continue to focus on the health of our players, support one another, and move forward together.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and continued pride in Meridian Yellow Jacket athletics. We appreciate this community and the way it stands behind our student-athletes during both the good times and the difficult ones.
