A big "Thank You" to our parents for making sure our kids are here every day possible. MISD attendance for last week was above 96%!!! MHS students have state testing this week so attendance continues to be very important.
Please note that this Friday, April 8, is the end of the 5th six weeks. Please help support your child by making sure they have completed all of their assignments. Remember you can log into their “Parent Portal'' account by clicking this link: https://portals12.ascendertx.com/ParentPortal/login?distid=018902

Parents of Juniors and Seniors--Tarleton University is hosting a TSIA Bootcamp on Saturday. Ms. Hughes discussed this information with the students this morning. TSIA is a placement test used by colleges to determine aptitude in Math, Reading and Writing. More information and a registration QR code is available on the attached flyer. The TSIA will be administered at MHS next Wednesday, April 6th, so this is a wonderful opportunity to prepare. Have a wonderful week!

Student Attendance is one of the most influential factors in student success.
As we move into this gorgeous Spring weather in Texas, we ask that you continue to send your children to school every day unless one of our excused absence criteria is met.
There is an article linked below from "My Texas Public Schools" that gives additional guidance on school attendance in Texas.

Thanks for your continued support in educating our children!
Mrs. Edwards

Kindergarten students worked hard to catch the leprechaun that was on the loose at MES. Last I heard, he paid them off with gold coins and made a clean getaway.
