Come out to AL Williamson Track and Field at Frank Pollard Stadium today to support our JH Yellow Jackets and Lady Jackets in their district track meet! Schedule is attached!

Victoria Bible- 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 Hayden Cummings- 300 hurdles, 4x400 Bailey Hay- 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, Pole Vault Isaac Lira- 4x400 Dustin Padgett- 400, 4x400 Mailey Padgett- 4x400 Noah Pendleton- Pole Vault Dyna Potter- 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, High Jump Brianna Ortiz- 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, Long Jump Guillermo Ortiz- 4x400, Triple Jump Zackery Smith- Pole Vault Aaliyah Washington- Shot Put Our track teams did a fantastic job this year competing well at every meet! Way to go, Jackets!

Due to high chances of rain this evening and tomorrow the Baseball game scheduled for Saturday vs Itasca has been moved to Itasca. Itasca 's facility is turfed which gives us a better chance to play. First pitch is at 1:00pm.

Join us in congratulating these students who were the winners of our attendance contest. Students designed their own Attendance Matters posters that were used to create a large banner that is coming soon to MES!

Day 1 of the district track meet was a success for the Yellow Jackets and Lady Jackets! Several athletes punched their tickets to Area in field events, three earned the title of District Champion, and many more advanced to Thursday’s running event finals. Great work, Jackets! MES enjoyed a special visit from Grammy Award winning artist, Alex Meixner. Meixner brought a host of instruments and even demonstrated some amazing yodeling skills for the students. We are thankful for his visit to MES!

We had some Egg-cellent Teamwork and some Egg-tastic Fitness Fun in PE!

We had our CKH Traction visit with Misti Kilgore from CkH. During our visit, we had the opportunity to hear from a panel of elementary students about how CKH is going from their perspectives. Students also took away tools to share back in the classroom. We are proud of the leadership on display!
