Please join the City of Meridian in celebrating and suppporting our students and our schools at a "Back to School Bash" set for Saturday, August 20. Details found below.
MES Families - Be watching your mail for your student's Back to School information. Anyone that has completed registration as of this morning, your teacher assignments and beginning of year information have been mailed out!
If you have not completed online registration or provided enrollment documents (if you are new to MISD), please get that completed as soon as possible. We will mail out your information and teacher assignments once that is completed.

If you are looking for an opportunity to support our school and be involved then mark your calendars for "Meet the Jackets" one week from today on Thursday, August 11 at the MHS Gym.
Our booster clubs have joined together to offer a hamburger dinner for sale. Food will be served beginning at 6:30 with presentations to follow.
The event will include students involved in Athletics, Band, Cheer and FFA.
We will conclude the evening with an auction for some fun items including reserved stadium seats and "sideline" passes.
All are welcome and we hope to see you there!!!

MHS--You may pick up your schedule TODAY, Wednesday, August 3rd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you need help with registration, we can help you today. We can't wait to see you!
6th Grade Parents and Students--
We want to welcome you to the MHS Hive! 6th grade orientation will be hosted by MHS Jacket Council on August 12th from 2:00-3:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENT IS REGISTERED PRIOR TO PICKING UP A SCHEDULE!
Online Registration is open. Returning Students: Log in to Parent Portal at http://www.meridianisd.org to register. New MISD students: Follow the directions above, but select "New Student" to create an account and register. New students will also need to provide the child's Birth Certificate, Social Security, Immunization record, proof of residency and enrolling guardian's driver's license to complete enrollment. You can bring those items by the campus August 3rd - 10th from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm.
MHS--You may pick up your schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, August 3rd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We can't wait to see you!
HS Football Practice. All players need to report to the HS Locker room by 7:15am. Practice will be held at the High School starting @7:30am.
New HS Cross Country Remind.
We kickoff our fall practices tomorrow morning! CC @ 6:45am, FB @ 7:30am VB @ 8:00am! EXCITED for our athletes to get back after it! It's Great Time to be a Yellow Jacket! Win the Day!

Athletic Parent Meeting Tonight @ 6pm HS Cafeteria!

The elementary campus will mail out Classroom assignments and Back to School information packets in August once your child's registration is complete.

Mini cheer camp starts tomorrow at 12pm-2pm in the MHS gym. We’re excited to see everyone. The theme this year is Disney. Any attire for that theme is acceptable, but make sure that it’s cheer appropriate. The shirts will be for the last day of camp. Cafeteria Update
Meridian ISD will provide a FREE breakfast to ALL enrolled students during the 2022-23 school year. Full pay student lunch prices have been set at $2.75 for MES and $3.00 for MJH/MHS. If you think your student will qualify for free or reduced lunches, make sure you complete the Child Nutrition Form during online registration.
