MHS wants to recognize our SPS student group for being the "Spotlight" for this year's Region 12 Teen Suicide Symposium June 17, 2021.
During this virtual training, Principal Kinney will share why and how she created this group last November as well as what the SPS does weekly to continually support all students on campus.
Dylan Poole and Paul Rivero have also been asked to share their experiences this year as leaders in the SPS.
The SPS will be recognized for their determination in supporting student's mental health in the hopes that area schools will take the same preventative measures to assist students on their campuses.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Today, we had an amazing, student led assembly about Mental Health. Thank you to the students who bravely shared their stories to educate and instill awareness and compassion in our students.



Senior Parent Meeting next Wednesday, May 5, at 5:30 in the HS Library.
We will discuss all things Seniors for the end of the year.
Also, please encourage your Seniors to check their school email and submit their BIOS for the newspaper. They have been emailed and talked to about this. We don't want any of them missing out on being in the newspaper!

***Attention Parents*** Students will have an early release today at 12:25. Buses will run at this time as well. If you need to make any changes to your student's transportation we ask that you let the offices know by 10:30.

Tonight is Grand March and Prom for Juniors and Seniors!!
If there is any precipitation, misting, raining, etc. at 4:30 pm, the Grand March will be relocated to the High School Cafeteria.
If it is in the cafeteria, we ask all guests to self screen prior to entering the school.
Also, when you enter, you will need to use the temperature scanner prior to admittance.
The Grand March will begin at 5:00 pm.

For Kindergarten: Students must be 5 years old by 9/1/21
For Pre-K: Students must be 4 years old by 9/1/21 AND meet one of the state's PK Qualifying criteria
