What an incredible morning at See You at the Pole!
We are so thankful for the amazing turnout of students and staff who gathered this morning to pray for our school, our community, and one another. It was encouraging to see so many come together in faith and unity!
A huge thank you to First Baptist Church Meridian for organizing this special event and for generously providing breakfast burritos for all students and staff in attendance.
Come out tomorrow as your HS Lady Jackets start district against Hico at home! JV will play at 5 and varsity will be after. We will have our senior recognition of our senior volleyball players and manager after the varsity game. Let's go, Lady Jackets! White out the Tigers!
The Meridian ISD School Board meeting has been canceled for today, September 21. The meeting will be held next Monday, September 28.

Join us this Wednesday from 7:30–7:50 AM at the flagpole at Meridian High School for See You at the Pole ’26!
This will be a student-led time of prayer for our school and our community. We are excited to see our students come together in prayer and to hear the bold proclamation of the Gospel. Come be part of this special time as we lift up our school, our community, and one another in prayer.
Breakfast burritos will be provided for MISD students & staff!
📖✨ Our High School Book Fair is Back!
Meridian High School has not hosted a book fair since 2018, and we are so excited to bring it back for our students!
All profits from the fair will be used to purchase new books for our high school library, so every purchase gives back to our students.
We would also love to make sure that every student who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so. If you would like to sponsor a book or book fair item for a student who may not otherwise be able to purchase one, donations may be made tomorrow at any home game or by reaching out to Dr. Paceley.
We are excited to build our library and put more books into the hands of our students! 💛📚
A special thank you to the Sugar Land Fire Department for stopping by Meridian ISD today and presenting us with a challenge coin as a token of appreciation for opening our facilities to them during the Hydra Fire.
We were honored to be able to support these firefighters while they were serving our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the work they do to protect others in times of need.

Meridian ISD administration in conjunction with Hico ISD administration have agreed due to the poor air quality caused by the fire, that it is in the best interest of all of our students participating in the football game tomorrow night (9-18) that we move the game to Hico.
Tickets will be avalible at the gate and online. Ticket prices $5-Adults and $3 Students.

Meridian ISD is planning a return to school tomorrow, Thursday, September 17th. Buses will run at the regular time and classes will begin with the first bell. We are in touch with authorities and will continue to monitor fire conditions as the evening progresses. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Stay safe.

Newman Academy double booked their Arlington facility for this Thursday, therefore the JH Football game has been moved to their facility in Cedar Hill. Newman Academy also plays their HS Football games on Thursday evenings and they do not have lights at their facility in Cedar Hill, due to this we will play our JH game at 3:30pm on Thursday.

In place of gate admission, we invite you to donate a case of water, Gatorade, or snacks. All donations will be given to the Meridian Volunteer Fire Department.
