Our goal is always to educate our students to the best of our ability. That can only happen when the students are not distracted with their phones!
The scheduled band concert for Tuesday, February 25 has been postponed until a later date. Updated information will be sent out soon regarding future dates. We appreciate the work our students are putting in to ensure each performance is their very best!
Parents and Spectators as we begin our spring athletic season the Athletic Department would like to send out a reminder of our Parent and Spectator Guidelines. These guidelines are in place to provide a safe and competitive enviroment for our athletes. Thank you for your cooperation!

Dear MISD Families:
Today after school as buses were pulling out; a bus driver noticed a student was playing with what appeared to be a firearm. The bus driver quickly retrieved the item and determined that it was a toy. As always we take the safety of our students seriously and urge parents to review our Code of Conduct for prohibited items. Please check your childrens’ backpacks if you have such items in your home. The Police Department has been notified and SRO Wallum is always on campus to ensure everyone is safe.
Happy SRO Day to Alicia Wallum! We thank you for everything you do for our staff and students at Meridian ISD. Words cannot express how much we appreciate you!!!

Softball game vs Valley Mills scheduled for Friday Feb. 21st has been cancelled.
Tennis tournament in Whitney scheduled for Friday Feb. 21st has also been cancelled.

Athletics update.
Tennis tournament scheduled for tomorrow Thursday Feb. 20th in Waco has been moved to Whitney Friday Feb. 21st.
Due to the weather moving in later on tonight. The softball game has been moved up to start at 3:30.
Congratulations to these ladies for qualifying for the Region 2 Unequipped Powerlifting Meet, which will take place on February 27th at Del Valle High School!
