IT'S GAME DAY!!
Come out to cheer our Yellow Jacket Football team onto victory at Hico starting at 7:00 pm.
If you did not get your name on the Will Call list, you can still get in. We have a little over 100 spots left, so come on out.
Remember to bring all of the noise makers you can!


Anthony Gonzalez, Natalee Rabago, and Norah Lira were recognized by Hill College today for completing at least 15 college credit hours! This is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations!



Hello All,
We have a BIG District game Thursday against Hico.
Game time is 7:00 pm at Hico Tiger Stadium.
We want to pack the stands and make some noise so bring your noise makers and your signs!
If you want to attend the game, please email Ms. Kinney (kkinney@meridianisd.org) or Mrs. Alvizo (salvizo@meridianisd.org), so we can add you to the Will Call list.
There is no charge, but you must be on the list to get into the game.

Our HS girls play volleyball at home with JV starting at 5:00 followed by Varsity.
In addition, JH football is also playing at home against Hico with their game starting a little later at 6:30.

Tomorrow at 9:00 am, Nurse Dirkse will conduct ECG's for our 7th grade students, any student new to the district, and students in athletics, cheer, or band.

The Meridian Freshman class is selling mini bundt cakes for $5.00 each. Flavors are chocolate, vanilla, lemon, red velvet, and pumpkin spice. Sale ends October 27th. UPCOMING ELECTIONS
In addition to our upcoming federal and state elections, both Meridian ISD and the city of Meridian will have local elections on the ballot on November 3, 2020.
While election day is November 3, early voting is currently happening. Here is a link to early voting information:

Hi Jackets!
A large number of our Juniors and Sophomores will be taking the PSAT in the high school gym tomorrow.
Students will report to the gym first thing in the morning and will begin testing by 8:30am.
The PSAT is 2 hours and 45 minutes long.
Please ask your Junior or Sophomore if they are taking the PSAT and remind them to get a good night's sleep so they can perform at their best.
