There will be a Homecoming Parade & Community Pep Rally this evening.
Line up begins at 6:00 at the Methodist Church located at 300 N Main St. The parade will leave the church parking lot beginning at 6:30 and turn left onto Morgan St. We will turn left again onto 2nd St and conclude at Yellow Jacket Stadium for a community pep rally to include introduction of the Homecoming Court.

Please join us tomorrow night at 6:30 to kick off our Homecoming Week Festivities. We will start with a Parade beginning in front of the Methodist Church and finishing at Yellowjacket Stadium. Following the parade, we will introduce the 2021 Homecoming Court and have a Community Pep Rally. We hope you can join us. Questions about class floats should be directed to class sponsors. Picture day is Tuesday, September 14. Picture forms were sent home today, so be on the lookout! Students purchasing pictures will need to bring form and money on Tuesday. All students will be photographed at this time for our MISD Yearbook, regardless if pictures are purchased. If your student misses picture day we will have a re-take day in October!
Meridian Elementary is proud to recognize Mrs. Carrie Chism, K-5 Interventionist, and Mrs. Kellie Flournoy, PK Paraprofessional, for being chosen as MES Staff Members of the Month for August. This achievement recognizes them for being "Heart at Work" for our students, staff, parents, and community every day.
The Tarrant County Food Pantry will be at Meridian High School tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8th. They will be set up by the gym entrance door from 10-12.
