Meridian JH teachers awarded their first Gold Star student this week. Teachers nominated students of their choice and then voted for one top student. We are only going to award 5 students this school year. Those nominated had to be the best of the best. Teachers had to write a paragraph detailing why they were nominating that student. The first recipient of the Gold Star Award is 7th grader Jackson Errington.

It's Party Bus Day!!!
Thank you to EVERYONE that supported the MES Fundraiser this fall. Congratulations to our top selling students! They were treated to pizza (Thanks to Royal Pizza) and a party bus ride! We appreciate everyone that helped raise money for our school.

Carter Blood Drive-October 22, 9:00 am-3:00 pm at the High School. Everyone is welcome to give blood. Parents may give in the place of their child. Seniors who give 2 times will receive a red cord for graduation.16 year olds must have parent permission-slips in the office.
