Meridian Elementary School would like to recognize Mrs. Leisha Martin, 2nd grade, and Mrs. Diana Davis, 4th grade, as Staff Members of the Month for September. This achievement recognizes them for being "Heart at Work" for their constant efforts to help make Meridian Elementary "The Greatest School on Earth".

Congrats to JV Girls for winning the Goldthwaite CC meet by one point. The varsity girls got 2nd. Dakota placed 2nd, Mallory was 5th and Norah was 8th. Meryl was 1st, Faith was 3rd, Haley was 4th, Burkly was 10th and Braislee was 11th. De’Marius was 7th and Daylyn was 4th. Very proud of all the runners.
Thursday is Report Card Day!!! MES students will come home with theirs. MHS student report cards will be mailed home on Thursday. Be on the lookout for your student's report card.

In support of the family of Lily Avant and #lilystrong, Meridian Band of Gold will have blue ribbons available at tonight's game. Band members are also accepting donations in support of the family.

Congrats to Varsity CC girls for tying with 4A Brownwood for first! Dakota, Mallory and Norah all placed in Top 15! JV girls got 2nd as a team and all members were in Top 15! Daylyn and Summer also placed in top 15! Congrats to all runners they all did well today!
FCA See You At The Pole is at 7:00 am tomorrow morning. JH football practice will start at 7:30am.
