High School and Junior High practice starts tomorrow after school until 4:30pm. Please add the reminds if your athlete is in Junior High you'll add the Junior High Remind if your athlete is in High School you'll need to add the High School Remind.
Another great day for Meridian Powerlifting! Anthony Alonzo placed 1st in the 114s and Aaliyah Washington placed 2nd in the 198s, while everyone else competed hard in a very competitive meet! Way to go, Jackets!
STATE BOUND!!! Band of Gold members competed at UIL Solo & Ensemble and returned home with multiple 1st Division ratings, including two heading to State!
Congratulations, Colby Cummings and Jackson Boganwright! This is the first time in MHS Band Program history that students are advancing to State in this category. Saturday Feb. 8th is our annual Yellow Jacket Inviational Powerlifting Meet. This is a large undertaking and requires many hands. Therefore ALL HS Athletes are required to attend and assist with the meet. Athletes will need to report Saturday morning at 7:30am the meet should conclude around 3:00pm. We will provide breakfast and lunch for all of our athletes on Saturday.
