Updated Boys Basketball Open Gym schedule: This schedule denotes the days that Coach Doughty will be at the gym in the month of June. The schedule is an addition to the Summer Strength & Conditioning Schedule.
This is a reminder for the month of June, that the weightroom and gym are open Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm. Summer Strength, Conditioning and Skills will begin on July 7th.
Congratulations to the Band of Gold for their placement in the Outstanding Performance Series hosted by the Association of Texas Small School Bands!
This is the first time our band program has submitted their UIL Concert recordings for this competitions. "Action Scene" was one spot away from advancing into the OPS Area round. This is further proof our students are rising the occasion and setting new expectations! #RiseAsOne #WeAreMeridian

Congratulations to Arianna Sandley for being accepted into the Princeton University summer journalism program! She was 1 of 40 students in the U.S. to be selected. During the year, Arianna has been involved in Academic UIL, FFA, One Act Play, and is an active member of the Band of Gold. We appreciate her hard work and achievements! #RiseAsOne
Congratulations to this year's Salutatorian, Benjamin Beaudin, on his acceptance into the HPU music program! He served as drum major and a true student leader during his time at MHS. This summer, Ben will take on a new role as official show design and visual choreographer for the 2025 UIL Competition Show performed by our Band of Gold! #RiseAsOne
