Following our Rock Unit, Kindergarten took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and explored and classified rocks, based on their size, color, and texture.

JH Games scheduled for tomorrow 2/1 will start at 4pm. The order for the games will be 7G, 8G followed by one boys game. These games will be on a rolling schedule.

Due to Kopperl not having a JV boys basketball team, tomorrow's high school basketball games in Kopperl have been moved up. The varsity girls game will start at 5:00 with the varsity boys to follow.
The senior class parent meeting that was scheduled for tonight (1/29) has been postponed to a later date. Once that date is set, we will let you know.

Tonight's basketball games against Covington are in Meridian. The JV boys will tipoff at 5:00, followed by Teacher appreciation night before the Varsity girls game. The varsity boys game will follow the varsity girls game around 7:15.

MISD will have a delayed start tomorrow, Tuesday January 16th. Although the highways seem clear; the County Roads may not be. Out of an abundance of caution; buses will run 2 hours late and school will begin at 10:00 am. If at any time information changes, we will post it here. Stay safe and warm!
