2022 Seniors and Parents--Please join us this evening at MHS, starting at 5:30pm to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students will need their Chromebook and Parents will need their 2020 tax return. All Senior Students are required to complete FAFSA. Tarleton University Representatives will be on hand to assist and answer questions.

NHS will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, October 7th, from 9:00-3:00 at MHS. Students 16 and older are eligible to participate with a signed permission slip. The community is welcome and encouraged to stop by and donate, as well. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!

When Mrs. Hitt learned fifth grader, Avree, wanted to become a bull rider, she shared this news with World Champion bullrider, Ty Murray. Murray gifted Avree with an autographed hat, books, and rodeo souvenirs to encourage this learner to never give up.

Homecoming Activities for Today The MHS Homecoming pep rally will begin at 3:00 pm this afternoon. Visitors are welcome to attend, we just ask that you check in at the MHS front office. Gates for tonight's game will open at 6:15 pm. We will present the Homecoming court pre-game at the stadium beginning at 6:45. If there is a change due to weather, we will post those changes here. The concession stand is offering a loaded baked potato dinner. Kick-off is set for 7:30 and we hope to see you there!!!

The Band Boosters need your help! Information was given to the schools today, please spread the word about pink out shirts,. Forms are due Friday to the office or can be dropped off at the concession stand during the Homecoming Game, Friday. Pink out will be on Oct 8th.

Meridian Band Boosters is holding a Baked Potato Dinner in Friday Night's concession stand. Come enjoy dinner at the Homecoming game AND support our kids all at the same time. All potatoes will come with a drink, butter, cheese, sour cream, and bbq sauce for $6 and one fully loaded with pulled pork is $8. Hope to see you there.....

I wanted to say a great big "Thank You" to all who helped make our 2021 Homecoming Parade and Community Pep Rally a success last night. It was awesome to see everyone join together to decorate floats, drive kids, cheer them on and be in attendnace. A special shout out to Meridian Volunteer Fire Department and Meridian Police Department for their assistnace with this event. Mrs. Edwards

Reminder of HOCO activities for today!!! There will be a Homecoming Parade & Community Pep Rally this evening. Line up begins at 6:00 at the Methodist Church located at 300 N Main St. The parade will leave the church parking lot beginning at 6:30 and turn left onto Morgan St. We will turn left again onto 2nd St and conclude at Yellow Jacket Stadium for a community pep rally to include introduction of the Homecoming Court.
