Tonight is Grand March and Prom for Juniors and Seniors!!
If there is any precipitation, misting, raining, etc. at 4:30 pm, the Grand March will be relocated to the High School Cafeteria.
If it is in the cafeteria, we ask all guests to self screen prior to entering the school.
Also, when you enter, you will need to use the temperature scanner prior to admittance.
The Grand March will begin at 5:00 pm.

Parent Information Meeting for NEW PK & Kindergarten students for the 2021-2022 school year will be May 19, 2021 from 4:30 - 5:30 pm in the MES Cafeteria.
For Kindergarten: Students must be 5 years old by 9/1/21
For Pre-K: Students must be 4 years old by 9/1/21 AND meet one of the state's PK Qualifying criteria

Meridian Elementary School would like to recognize Mrs. Anna Brister, ECSE Paraprofessional, and Mrs. Maria Ortiz, Custodian, as Staff Members of the Month for March. This achievement recognizes them for being "Heart at Work" for their constant efforts to help make Meridian Elementary "Out of This World!" MES teachers have the sidewalks ready to welcome our 4th graders Tuesday morning with words of motivation and encouragement for the 4th grade STAAR Writing test!
The MES staff is proud to celebrate World Autism Day today! April is Autism Awareness Month and every Friday in April we encourage our students and staff to wear Blue or Red to promote awareness and acceptance for all individuals with Autism.
Today we celebrated two of our lovely teachers who are getting married next week. Congratulations Coach Styron and Ms. Weeks!
