MISD Jackets--We have a significant number of students out with respiratory illnesses. We have made the decision to close school tomorrow, Friday, January 31st. This will provide time to deep clean surfaces and allow sick students and staff to recuperate. I am attaching guidance from the CDC regarding respiratory illnesses. Please review this guidance and make sure students who are ill have been symptom and fever-free, without meds, for 24 hours before returning to school. Classes will resume as normal on Monday, February 3rd. Stay well!

Save the date!!!

The 100th Day of School is this Friday 1-31-25!!! :)

Trooper Sadler assisted SRO Wallum today during Jackets Against Drugs. Students learned about peer pressure, making good choices, DWI vs DUI, crashes, and pursuits. Students got to hear about the job responsibilities of a State Trooper, and how they are similar to city police. Thank you Trooper Sadler for willing to come and share your stories and experiences with the MES 5th Graders!
