Meridian Elementary had two of its talented artist honored today. Mailey was awarded 1st place for her drawing and Jose was awarded Honorable Mention for his. We are so proud of these two amazing artist. Congratulations!

The Meridian HS Band competed in the UIL Region 8 Concert and Sightreading Contest in Cameron. The band earned an Excellent rating on Stage and an Excellent Rating in Sightreading. Congrats on a great year!
Track Meet Schedule Change- 3200 is at 4:30, all other running begins at 5:30. Field events have been cancelled.

Prom and Grand March Update- Grand March will be at 6:30 pm at the Court House, students will need to be there by 6:00. Prom is from 7:30-11:00 pm at Bison Run Ranch.

Remember, Six Flags Reading Logs are due by April 3rd! Submit your child's six reading hours ONLINE this year or by filling out a paper reading log. You can contact your child's teacher for the online access code or for a new copy of the reading log.
8th Grade Parents- We are having our 8th Grade Parent meeting next Monday, March 9 at 6:00 pm in the MHS Cafeteria. We will cover necessary information for your student's high school future so please attend. If you have any questions, please call Ms. Kinney or Ms. Robinson.
Schools across Texas will celebrate School Breakfast Week March 2-6, 2020. Meridian ISD provides free breakfast for ALL enrolled MISD students. Come celebrate with us!
