MHS Homecoming game is tonight with kick off at 7:30.
Homecoming activities will be held at half time.
In following UIL guidelines for spectators:
• Face coverings are required to enter the stadium and need to stay on when 6 feet of distance can't be maintained.
• Each visitor will complete a COVID self-check and be temperature scanned.
• Home fans please park & enter through the north gate if possible.
• Bleachers & the fence are marked with caution tape for spectators to be positioned in groupings 6 feet apart.
• Do not remove, reposition, sit or stand where there is caution tape.
• Our Band of Gold will have their own set of bleachers on the track where they are more visible and free up additional seating.
• Fans will not be allowed to enter the field at the conclusion of the game.
Please understand that failure to follow these guidelines puts our kids and their season at risk with the UIL.

Homecoming Pep Rally is tomorrow at 10:20. Any guests must enter through the front entry doors to be temperature screened, then proceed to the gym.

Due to field conditions, the JH football game set for Thursday, September 10 has been cancelled.
MES News - We are excited to share our NEW collection of over 275 books in the MES Library. These books were purchased with the money raised from our Book Fair last spring! Thank you for your support & for helping us get new books in students' hands.
Homecoming Pep Rally/ Meet the Jackets will be at 10:20 this Friday. Parents/Family members are welcome.

USDA extends free meals for students through December 31, 2020.
While Meridian ISD has offered free breakfast for several years, the USDA is now allowing us to provide free lunches to ALL students effective immediately through the end of 2020.

***Tonight our High School girls will travel to Oglesby for volleyball.
Varsity will start @ 4:30 followed by JV.
Face coverings are required to enter and must stay on while at the event.
***Varsity football will have their 1st home game tonight against Frost.
We will recognize our seniors beginning at 7:00 with kick-off set for 7:30.
