Governor Abbott announced today that all Texas Public Schools, including Meridian ISD, will remain closed until Monday, May 4, 2020.

Come out from 11-1 today to get this week's assignment packets and a meal. Thanks to Utton, Banskter, Perry, Ticer, and Alvizo for stuffing packets yesterday!!
TOMORROW, MARCH 31 is Remote Learning/Packet Pick up Day. We ask that you keep ALL completed school work in the envelope. You can get lessons for the week and pick up free lunch & breakfast for any child from 11:00-1:00 @ MES. Stay Well, Stay Safe, Stay Blessed! Mrs. Edwards

MISD staff "caravaned" through town this afternoon with signs, shouts & lots of smiles.
They were met with the same in return from many of you.

It's Friday so it's Pizza for lunch today from 11:00-1:00 at MES.
ANY child from ANY school, ages 1-18 years old.
Kids do NOT have to be with you, just come grab lunch (and a breakfast too).

The MES Staff is working hard to make sure our kids get the instruction and support they need while we are apart. At our "Virtual" Staff Meeting today, we planned next week's lessons and ways to reach out to our families to let you know we miss you & are here if you need us! Stay turned for more!

It was nice to see all of you today for remote learning & meal pick up. We will provide meals EACH day this week. If you missed us, packets can be emailed or picked up from 11:00-1:00 @ MES during meal pick up any day.

Learning packets can be picked up ANY day from the meal pick up line.
Each will contain a week's worth of info.
If you are picking up for a friend, that is great, we will just need the student's name.

MISD will be providing FREE Breakfast & Lunch, to any child ages 1-18, from the MES gym parking lot beginning Tues., March 24.

Please note that changes are already on the MISD calendar. A few events are canceled but the majority of them are simply postponed.
In response to COVID 19,Meridian ISD will be closed from March 23 through April 5.
During this time,our students will be learning remotely & we will be providing meals. Details on those items will be posted here.
