In light of the inclement weather conditions forecasted for tomorrow, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, staff, and bus drivers, Meridian ISD will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th, 2025
We understand the impact this may have, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the well-being of our community. Please continue to monitor our school website and Facebook page for any further updates or changes to our schedule.
As we monitor the situation tomorrow, we will make decisions about Friday.

Meridian ISD will be closed for Christmas Break from Friday, December 20th-Monday, January 6th. Staff return on Tuesday, January 7th and students return on Wednesday, January 8th. Enjoy the break!
Meridian Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) members visited the local nursing home and local shut ins today to spread the Christmas spirit by singing Christmas carols! Bringing joy to others was a wonderful way to head into Christmas break.
The "Not So Jazz Band - Jazz Band" toured around the county today bringing joy to our nursing home residents! A lot of great laughs, uplifted spirits, and the occasional dance party from the crowd. We appreciate this special part of the community that supports and loves our music program. #WeAreMeridian

Thursday, December 19th is an Early Release day for MISD. Students will have lunch and be released at 12:25 pm.
