
Breeding Sheep wrapped up the weekend in San Antonio with a few huge wins! Wesley S was 2nd in the Southdown Ewe lamb class. Spencer S was 8th, Liberty H was 10th, and Mayrn R was 15th in the Hampshire ewe lamb class.

Today was great in San Antonio! The Breeding Sheep team had a great time and gained some great experiences! Hope C was 5th place today in the Commercial Ewe Class 2. Way to go Hope we are so proud of you🎉





Students always learn a lot from Jackets Against Drugs. This week, students enjoyed a special visit from Sergeant Hardy and the Bosque County drug dog, Max.





Cannot let the week end without bragging on our awesome Academic Advisor for Counselor Week! We are so thankful for everything she does for our students, staff, and school! You're a rockstar, Mrs. Spivey!

Are you ready for some reading??? These readers competed against each other for the title in the Reading Bowl. Readers gave it their all!





Chamber members came by MHS to present Shelly Carpenter with "Teacher of the Month" for the month of January. This is voted on by our student body. Congrats Mrs. Carpenter!


Thank you to the Tarleton State University rep for coming to MHS today. February is College Go Get It Month here at Meridian High School. Our students have enjoyed getting to visit with college reps about their schools.




There will be a softball parent meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at 5:30 at the HS Softball field for all girls and parents that will be participating for the 2023 season. Please make plans to attend!

There will be a fan bus going to our Lady Jackets playoff Basketball game on Monday, February 13th! There will be a sign up sheet and permission slips in the HS office. All students wanting to attend must have a signed permission. Tickets are $3 and $5 at the gate. The game will be at 6 pm and location is pending on the outcome of tomorrow's seeding game.

Short sleeve will be $15, long sleeve will be $17, and 2xl and 3xl will be an additional $2! Adult and kid sizes will be available to order. Money and forms are due no later than 3:30 pm on Monday, February 13th!


Blum will no longer have a JV boys basketball team on Friday. Unfortunately that is the end of the JV season. They have had a great season and we are extremely proud of them!
The Varsity boys game will be played at 7 in Blum tomorrow night.
