Tonight, our Meridian Yellow Jacket OAP students and their directors -- Andrea Dunn and Leigh Gilbert, successfully completed their play "A Monster Calls." They will be advancing to Bi-district. Aaliyah Washington has punched her ticket to the THSWPA Unequipped State Powerlifting Meet after lifting a total of 710 pounds at the Regional Meet, earning her the title of Regional Champion of the 198 class! Brianna Rosales competed very well also, placing 7th overall in the 165 class! We are very proud of how well our girls powerlifting team competed this year and are excited to see how Aaliyah competes at State! Way to go, Lady Jackets!
