Iredell does not have a JV team. Game times for tonight’s District games in Meridian are as follows: Varsity Girls 6 pm Varsity Boys 7:15 pm Please come out and support our Jackets and Lady Jackets!

Monday, January 16th will be a student HOLIDAY.

Great job to our JH girls and JH boys basketball teams for both beating Kopperl tonight! Girls won 36-12 and boys won 45-17!

Students who meet their reading/math goals have been entering their names with Mrs. Davis’ prize cart for a chance to win a grand prize. Today, we celebrate the winners who will be taking home new bicycles!

Senior Portraits will be taken tomorrow, Tuesday January 10th beginning at 8:30 am. Drapes, Cap and Gown and Tuxedo will be provided by PhotoTexas. Once taken, these portrait proofs will be available online for purchase. No forms or money will be needed tomorrow.

JH and HS FCA passed out Christmas cards to the residents at The Hilltop on Main yesterday to spread the Christmas joy! Thank you to The Hilltop for having us!

Elves were loose at MES today! They heard that Christmas break is soon to be on its way.

We are so proud of all of our UIL contestants, coaches, and the committee who worked hard to help our school shine. We are proud to announce MES earned first place in the competition!

Meridian ISD will dismiss early on Wednesday, December 21 at 12:30 pm. MISD will be closed December 22-January 8. Students return to school on Monday, January 9, 2023. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
